Eccoci al secondo blog post con protagonista Jessica! Il primo ha avuto molto successo, quindi mi aspetto lo stesso anche per questo e il prossimo!! 🙂

La seconda foto che ho voluto realizzare con Jessica è invece la classica foto da rivista di pubblicità di intimo. Le tonalità dovranno quindi essere chiare, senza però andare a finire nell’high key. Anche per questa foto mi sono avvalso di tre flash, che sono serviti rispettivamente per: luce principale (con ombrello), fill (softbox), sfondo.

Here we are to the second blog post featuring Jessica! The first was very successful, so I expect the same for this and the next! 🙂

The second photo I wanted to do with Jessica was the classic underwear magazine advertisement photo. The tone should be clear, but not as much as high key. For this picture I used again three flashes,  which were used for the main light (with umbrella), fill (softbox), and background, respectively.

[it]La modella è illuminata usando il classico schema butterfly (o clamshell, chiamatelo come volete.. alcuni mi hanno detto che il butterfly non prevede per forza la luce sottostante, ma io l’ho sempre visto fatto così e lo chiamo così..). La luce principale è data da un flash 580EXII in un ombrello riflettente di grandi dimensioni posto di fronte al viso della modella, il fill è dato da un 430EXII in un softbox dal basso. Le potenze in gioco non me le ricordo perfettamente, ma mi sembra di ricordare 1/8 per la principale e 1/16 per il fill. Pertanto il fill è uno stop e mezzo inferiore alla luce principale (dalle potenze sembrerebbe uno stop, ma dato che il 430EXII è circa due terzi di stop meno potente del 580EXII, il fill sarà uno stop e mezzo, all’incirca, meno potente). Per il fondale ho usato un 430EXII senza modificatori, con parabola a 14mm e potenza se non ricordo male 1/4. Con questa potenza, e avendo posto la modella abbastanza distante dal fondale (2 o 3 metri), ho potuto ottenere uno sfondo grigio uniforme. Per quanto riguarda la macchina fotografica ho impostato modalità M, ISO 200, F7.1, 1/160.

In postproduzione ho esaltato un po’ i colori e ho virato il fondo sull’azzurrino tenue. Eccovi quindi lo scatto finale![/it][en]The model is lightened using the classic butterfly diagram (or clamshell, call it what you want .. Some have told me that the butterfly is not expected to use the light below, but I’ve always seen it done and I call it this way..). The main light is given by a flash 580EXII in a reflective umbrella of large dimensions in front of the model’s face, the fill is given by a430EXII in a softbox from below. Regarding the power involved, I do not remember perfectly, but it seems to me to remember 1/8 for the main and 1/16 for the fill. Therefore, the fill is one and a half stop below the main light (from the powers it would seem a stop, but since the430EXII is about two thirds of stops less powerful than the 580EXII, the fill will be a stop and a half, roughly, less powerful). For the background I used a 430EXII without modifiers, with the parabole set to 14mm and power, if I remember right, 1/4. With this power, and having the model far enough from the background (2 or 3 meters), I could get a uniform gray background.With regard to the camera I set M mode, ISO 200, F7.1, 1/160.

[it]E con questa foto anche il secondo episodio legato a Jessica è finito. Vi attendo per il terzo, dove i lampisti saranno veramente colpiti! Per il terzo episodio ho utilizzato una tecnica veramente interessante! Non vedo l’ora di mostrarvela! Quindi rimanete sintonizzati!! 😉
