Finalmente riprendo in mano il blog dopo ben 20 giorni di assenza..
L’appuntamento di oggi è dedicato ad una serie particolare di foto che ho fatto insieme a Paola, già protagonista del set anni ’70 pubblicato il 31 Luglio.
L’idea di queste foto parte da un pezzo di un brano meraviglioso dei Queen che si intitola “The show must go on”
Partendo da questa idea decido insieme a Paola di realizzare un set in cui il trucco cola.. e in cui lei avrà il difficilissimo compito di arrivare quasi a piangere.. chiedetelo a qualsiasi modello/a o attore/attrice.. vi confermeranno che arrivare ad una tristezza tale quasi da generare delle lacrime è mille volte più difficile di ridere..
Magica aiutante per questo set è stata mia cugina Chiara (trovate il link alle sue foto nella sezione Links!!), che sapendo dell’organizzazione del set è venuta a trovarci e in più è stata utilissima a preparare le lacrime da far correre sul viso e posarle sulle guance per poi togliere rapidissimamente la mano e lasciarmi scattare la foto quando la goccia era ancora sul viso.. Grazie Chiara!
Per quanto riguarda l’aspetto più prettamente tecnico.. beh ho utilizzato un po’ di tutto.. setup a 2 e 3 flash.. con ombrellini, softbox e luce dura.. e ho cambiando anche un po’ schemi di illuminazione e colori dei flash, quindi sinceramente non mi metto a farvi l’elenco di tutti i setup utilizzati.. se siete interessati basta che mi mandate una mail 😉

Today’s date is dedicated to a particular series of photos I made togheter with Paola, already protagonist of the 70’s set published on July the 31st.
The idea for these photos starts from a great song by Queen titled “The show must go on”
Starting from this idea I decide with Paola to realize a set in which the make up is flaking.. and in which she’ll have the very difficult aim to arrive almost to cry.. ask to any model or actor/actress.. they will say to you that to arrive to a sadness able to generate tears is ten thousand times difficult than to laugh..
Magic helper for this set is my cousin Chiara (you can find the link to her photos in the section Links!!), who, knowing that we would have made this set, has come to help us to create the tears to put on the visage and rapidly remove the hand then the drop is still on the visage.. Thank you Chiara!!
For what concerns the technique.. well I used almost everything.. setup with 2 or 3 flash.. with umbrellas, softbox and hard light.. and I changed a lot of schemes and the colors of the strobes, then sincerely I don’t want to put here all the setup used.. if you are interested just send me an email 😉
